Blumenfeld

Bonino Gallery, New York
Bonino Gallery, New York, USA 20th March - 15th April, 1971

This was the first public showing of Blumenfeld’s large marble work in the United States

Blumenfeld perceives sculpture as an extension of interpersonal relations. Through a symbolic figurative language she is attempting to communicate a social philosophy. She believes that it is possible, by using abstract sculptural forms, to create movable structures which parallel the complexity as well as the evolution of human relationships.
