‘Helaine Blumenfeld / Henry Moore: A Dialogue 1985-2015’
2015 marks the 30th anniversary of Henry Moore and Helaine Blumenfeld’s seminal joint exhibition, A British Dialogue: From Perry Green to Cambridge, at the Alex Rosenberg Gallery, New York. To celebrate, Bowman Sculpture in London presents a major new exhibition reuniting their work, Helaine Blumenfeld / Henry Moore: A Dialogue 1985-2015. The exhibition, which coincides with a new work by Blumenfeld being installed in London’s Berkeley Square, runs 22 May – 30 June 2015.

The Robert Bowman Modern gallery is delighted to announce a selling exhibition of recent work by Helaine Blumenfeld OBE, which opened 10th May at 34 Duke Street James’s, and will continue until July 31st 2012. The exhibition at Robert Bowman Modern features four bronze and nine marble works, including the maquette for Tempesta, the monumental marble commissioned by luxury development The Lancasters in Hyde Park.

A breathtakingly beautiful celebration of Helaine Blumenfeld's work took place in Pietrasanta, Italy, in September and October 2011.

HELAINE BLUMENFELD’s impressive show which opened 9th October at the Town Hall of Norway’s capital proved that despite a horde of unanticipated problems caused by the late arrival of 38 marble, bronze and Crystal Clear sculptures (weighing a total of more than 7 tons), a happy ending was possible with so much support. Friends who had come to enjoy the opening were quickly put to work.

BLUMENFELD IN THE OSLO TOWN HALL

Helaine Blumenfeld, an internationally acclaimed sculptor, believes in the importance of art to inspire a spiritual awakening in society. There could be no greater recognition of this than the decision by the Oslo Commune, in collaboration with Anfinsen Kunst, to host an extensive exhibition of a single artist in the Town Hall, one of Norway’s most prestigious public venues for art. Such was their acknowledgement of Blumenfeld’s stature that for the first time ever, they have allowed a monumental sculpture to be exhibited outside the entrance to the Gallery overlooking the harbour.

Helaine Blumenfeld wins prestigious international sculpture prize
The Anglo-American artist Helaine Blumenfeld is the recipient of the 16th edition of the International Prize "Pietrasanta e la Versilia nel Mondo" ("Pietrasanta and Versilia in the World") created by the Circolo Culturale Fratelli Rosselli. The prestigious award is assigned every year to an artist who, through their own creativity, promotes Pietrasanta, its artistic culture and its rich heritage of master craftsmen, in Italy and abroad. The traditional wooden work bench of the sculptor is not only the symbol of the prize, but also the emblem of an artistic reality which sees famous artists and artisans working side by side, and it is thanks to this happy union that Pietrasanta is known artistically worldwide.
